Privacy Notice
How STS Oldham collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Last updated 5 November 2026.
This notice explains how STS Oldham (“we”, “us”) uses personal information when you use this website, contact us, or use our services. We are the controller of that information. Contact us at 101 Westend Street, Oldham OL9 6AL, on 0161 627 5742, or by email.
What We Collect
- Enquiries: the details you type into our forms, such as your name, email address, phone number, travel plans and message.
- Bookings and applications: when you book or ask us to help with an application, the passenger, passport and document details needed for that service. We collect these in person or by phone, not through the website.
- Money transfers: your identity details and the recipient’s details, as required by law for money transfer services.
- Website use: our web host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security.
Why We Use It, and Our Lawful Basis
- To answer your enquiry and provide the services you ask for (contract, or steps before a contract).
- To meet legal duties, including anti-money-laundering checks for money transfers (legal obligation).
- To keep the website secure and prevent spam (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information or use it for marketing without your consent.
Who We Share It With
Only with those who need it to deliver your service: airlines, wholesale travel partners and tour operators; the authorities that process visa and passport applications; our money transfer partner; and our IT and hosting providers. Some of these are outside the UK, for example airlines and authorities in your destination country; where that happens we rely on the safeguards UK law requires.
How Long We Keep It
Enquiries are kept for up to 2 years. Booking, transfer and financial records are kept for 6 years, or longer where the law requires.
Your Rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it to be transferred. Contact us using the details above. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
