Renewing a Bangladeshi passport now means applying for an e-passport, with an enrolment appointment in person. We help you complete the application and prepare everything for that appointment.

Dropping documents at STS does not replace your enrolment appointment. All applicants, including children, must attend the required e-passport enrolment in person.

How We Help

  1. Check the list below and gather the documents. Children, corrections, handwritten passports and other special cases need extra documents, so call us on 0161 627 5742 first if any of these apply.

  3. We prepare the application, the application printout, the barcode or summary sheet and your appointment details, and explain anything you need to sign.
  4. You attend your enrolment appointment in person, with the documents we give back to you.

E-PASSPORT

Standard Renewal Checklist: Existing MRP or E-Passport

  • Your existing original Bangladeshi passport.
  • Your original NID, or a signed, online-verifiable 17-digit birth registration certificate with English details, plus a verification copy for the birth certificate. If your existing passport was issued using your NID, bring that NID.
  • Proof of address, and the original passport of any other nationality you hold.
  • If your marital status has changed: the applicable registered marriage or divorce evidence.
  • If you are seeking the student fee: your student evidence.
  • If your passport was lost: its copy and the required UK police loss-report reference letter.

There are two separate charges: the official e-passport fee, which depends on the passport type and processing speed, and our assistance charge. We tell you both before we start. Ask us for the current amounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do children need to attend the appointment?

Yes. All applicants, including children, must attend the e-passport enrolment in person. Children need extra documents, so please call us before you come in.

My passport is handwritten. Can I still renew it?

Yes, but handwritten passports are a special case with extra requirements. Call us and we will tell you what to bring.

My name or date of birth is different on my documents.

Corrections need additional evidence. Bring everything you have and we will check it, or call us first.

Is passport help covered by ATOL?

No. Passport application assistance is a separate service and is not covered by ATOL protection.
